What this is
Book Publishing Tools Online is a set of tools that take a book from a finished manuscript to a published one: a Word-to-EPUB converter with a live preview and a fidelity check, a cover designer built on KDP print templates, a hosted one-page book website, an author business card, and image and video makers for the launch. Everything runs in a web browser. There is nothing to install and nothing to update.
Why we built it
Publishing a book yourself is possible and worth doing, and the stores have made the last step, the upload, easy. Everything before that step was scattered: a desktop app for formatting, a design tool for the cover, a website builder, a video editor, each with its own learning curve and its own subscription. We wanted one workshop where the pieces share a manuscript and a palette, and where the conversion could be trusted because it checked itself against the original.
What we promise
- No royalties, no per-book fees. We never take a share of your book. After the beta, a plan is a flat yearly license.
- Your files are yours. Everything you download belongs to you, and your manuscripts, covers, and pages remain your property.
- Your manuscript stays with you. Import and conversion run in your browser. A project reaches our servers only when you sign in and choose to save it.
- Standards, not lock-in. Exports are plain EPUB 3 and PDF that work in every store and every reading app.
The beta
Every tool is free while we are in beta. We are using this period to work with real manuscripts from real authors and to fix what breaks. If something does, the feedback form reaches us directly.
