What it does
Signings, conferences, a chance meeting at the library: the moment someone asks how to find your book, hand them a card with the cover on it. The designer pulls in your cover and palette so the card looks like it belongs with the book.
Sizes and print settings
- US 3.5 × 2 in, EU 85 × 55 mm, square 2.5 × 2.5 in, or mini 3.5 × 1 in, or a custom size
- Bleed on or off, with trim and safe-margin guides on screen only
- Front and back exported separately as 300 DPI PNGs
What goes on the front
Name, tagline, website, email, phone, or any custom text, positioned where you like. Use the darken control to keep text legible over an image. The back carries the cover, full bleed.
Questions
Will a print shop accept the file?
Yes. The export is a standard 300 DPI PNG at the card size plus bleed, which is what online and local printers ask for. Send the front and back files together.
Can I use a photo instead of the cover?
Yes. The back can carry any image, and the front can use a colour, gradient, or image background.
