Video Creator

A short launch video, made in your browser

Animated text over licensed stock clips, in the shape each platform wants, rendered to MP4 right in the browser. Built for the few seconds a reader gives a post.

What it does

Drop a stock clip on the timeline, or start from a gradient, add your title and subheading, choose how the text moves, and generate. The encoding happens in your browser, so your clips and text are never shipped off to be rendered somewhere else.

What you can make

  • Square, 4:5 portrait, 9:16 story or reel, or 16:9 landscape at 1080p
  • Up to three clips on a timeline, trimmed and arranged, up to fifteen seconds in total
  • Text that fades, slides, or zooms into frame, with duration control
  • Six typefaces shared with the Image Creator, so stills and video match
  • MP4 output, with a WebM fallback where MP4 encoding is unavailable
  • A PNG still of the same design, for a matching image post

Short by design

This is not a feature-length trailer tool. It makes the announcement clip that plays in a feed: a cover reveal, a release date, a line from the book.

Questions

How long can the video be?

Up to fifteen seconds across as many as three clips, which is the length that works in feeds and stories.

Does rendering need a fast computer?

Encoding runs in the browser and takes a little while on older machines, but there is nothing to install and no upload.

Can I use my own footage?

Yes. Upload a clip or image as the background instead of picking from the stock library.
